Hållbar Interiör offers training for professionals who want to understand the HI label, apply the criteria in practice or support organisations in their work with sustainable premises.

The training courses are intended for professionals working in areas such as architecture, interior architecture, property, facilities management, project management, sustainability and the public sector. Teaching materials are also available for universities and other higher education institutions.

HI Training

An online introductory course for anyone who wants to understand what the HI label covers and how it can be applied within an organisation and its premises.

The course provides an introduction to:

  • Hållbar Interiör and the HI label
  • the structure of the Criteria Document
  • the HI labelling process
  • the organisation’s preparations for the HI label
  • how premises can be developed and managed with reduced environmental and climate impact

HI Training is suitable for premises managers, sustainability managers, project managers, property owners, tenants, architects and others involved in the development and management of premises.

HI Coach Training

An advanced training programme for professionals who want to support organisations in the HI labelling process or develop their own expertise in sustainable premises.

The training covers areas including:

  • the criteria and process of the HI label
  • feasibility studies and assessments of the current situation
  • inventories of fixed interiors and furnishings
  • documentation and supporting information
  • climate data and climate impact calculations
  • use of the digital tool Hint
  • preparations for independent verification
  • the role and responsibilities of an adviser

The training combines theory with practical application. Participants who complete and pass the required components become qualified HI Coaches and may be presented in the Hållbar Interiör directory of qualified HI Coaches, subject to the current qualification terms.

Webinars

The webinars provide an introduction to Hållbar Interiör or explore current topics relating to the HI label, the criteria, Hint and the sustainable development and management of premises.

The content and intended audience vary between webinars. Some webinars are designed for those who are new to Hållbar Interiör, while others are intended for organisations, property owners, consultants or previous training participants.

Teaching materials for universities and higher education institutions

Teaching materials are available for universities and other higher education institutions and can be used in architecture and interior architecture programmes.

The materials were developed by researchers at RISE and comprise five teaching modules. The modules are designed for university-level students and can be integrated into existing courses. The materials are available in both Swedish and English.

The materials are available free of charge to universities and other higher education institutions that provide Hållbar Interiör with an evaluation after using them.
